Chytayko: How a Play-Based Reading Method for Children Aged 5–7 Found Its Digital Home
Sometimes a project starts not with a brief, but with the desire to make something useful.
We saw a method that was already helping children fall in love with reading, and decided to help it grow beyond offline lessons. So more parents could discover the course, and more children could learn to read through play.
That is how Chytayko became a digital home for a lively, original play-based reading method.
About the Project
Chytayko is a reading course for children aged 5 to 7.
Children do more than memorize letters. They play, interact with a toy character, join in dialogue, and gradually take their first confident steps in reading. Expressive intonation and playful delivery help hold their attention without pressure.
The project already had a strong offline foundation:
- real lesson stories;
- around 30 parent testimonials;
- a clear and caring approach to learning.
Our goal was to preserve that atmosphere digitally and make the method easy for new families to understand.
Who the Course Is For
Chytayko is made for children aged 5 to 7. The website helps parents understand whether this learning format is right for their child.
The course is a good fit for children who:
- cannot read yet;
- know individual letters but cannot turn them into words;
- read syllable by syllable;
- become upset when reading or getting ready for school comes up.
Instead of insisting that a child simply “has to study,” the course offers a different experience: 25 playful lessons where children learn at their own pace, with interest and support.
The core promise is to help a child learn to read from scratch without rote learning, stress, or tears.
What We Did
- Translated the value of the original method into a landing-page structure built to support a parent’s decision.
- Created Ukrainian and Russian versions of the website.
- Added sections with real parent testimonials.
- Published the first lesson so parents could see what play-based learning looks like.
- Built a clear path from a parent’s concern to the next step: submitting an inquiry.
- Set up the form so inquiries arrive by email and are recorded in a spreadsheet.
How the Website Helps Parents Decide
We avoided overloading parents with teaching terminology. Instead, we created a calm, clear path:
- Recognition: “This sounds like my child.”
- Solution: the child learns through play, not rote learning and tears.
- Trust: real testimonials from other parents.
- Experience: the opportunity to watch the first lesson.
- Action: a simple inquiry form with no unnecessary steps.
Result
Chytayko gained more than a beautiful website. It now has a digital foundation for the project’s future growth:
- a bilingual landing page;
- clear packaging for the original method;
- a first lesson that introduces the format;
- real testimonials that build trust;
- inquiry collection without losing leads;
- a foundation for growing the course and communicating with its audience.
We helped Chytayko speak to parents in clear language while preserving what matters most in digital form: a warm, kind learning atmosphere.
Work on the next lessons is continuing. It is our small but meaningful contribution to a better future for our world.
